MY PERSONAL PARANORMAL EXPERIENCES
                                                                          Part II

I have lived in homes throughout my lifetime that had paranormal activities going on within them.  When my children were between the ages of 2 and 12 years old, we lived in a home that had all sorts of activities going on.  The spirit in that home could move things, and would often imitate some of our voices.  This spirit made its presence known to each of us at various times, but we learned together that it wasn’t a spirit to fear.

Today, my boyfriend and I live in a home that has spirits. We have known since the first day of moving in, on witnessing shavers floating about in our shower stall, that something just wasn’t quite right.  My boyfriend had never experienced living in a home with such things happening so it took him a little while to totally believe it.  I assured him in time more things would happen and he couldn’t help but believe.

Sure enough, after hearing footsteps when no one else is there; hearing muffled whispering in our bedroom at night; feeling the bed sink down as if someone just sat on it; feeling our mattress shake as we are trying to sleep; smelling flowery perfume or musk, and then walking toward where it seems to be, and having the smell disappear; having our television suddenly go off and then hearing ghostly sounds coming from the speakers; sitting on the couch watching TV and feeling something ice cold beside you as if someone else wants to watch TV, too; and the most compelling, seeing a spirit standing in our dining room and being able to describe it as a man wearing a dark navy suit with a top hat.  Now he believes.

Our home is a duplex and my daughter and her family live on the other side.  They, too, have had their share of experiences, but it appears that their experiences are not from the same spirit as ours.  My daughter has often seen a black shadow move from the upstairs bathroom across the hall and into her daughter’s bedroom.  My daughter says that this shadow has the shape of a woman.  On other occasions, my daughter has been suddenly overtaken by the smell of strong flowery perfume and there is no perfume on her side of the house. 

Also, we now have tape recorded evidence that confirms that the spirit of a young child is also within this house.  From the recording, I would say this child is 4–5 years old.  The child has made itself known on several occasions in my granddaughter’s bedroom next door.  It enjoys turning on her TV and flipping through the channels, and playing with toys that she has that either girls or boys can play with.  It recently woke her up in the middle of the night playing with a cash register she has on a desk in her room.  The noise of the register bothered her so much she went to her mom’s bedroom to sleep.

Because of the spirits we have living with us, my boyfriend and I wanted to form a group to help others with paranormal experiences.  I feel that with my own personal experiences through the years I can help others learn about the paranormal and how to handle it.
